Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten in Lake Worth

If you’re looking for a way to help prepare your child for kindergarten, sign them up for a voluntary pre-kindergarten program. To be eligible for VPK in Florida, children must turn four on or before September 1st. Once they reach that age, they are eligible for a VPK certificate.

If you want to learn more about how to get your VPK certificate or have questions about VPK in Florida, visit the Office of Early Learning Family Portal. You can also print off your child’s VPK certificate to enroll in our free part-time VPK program.

Part-Time VPK Program

In the state of Florida, part-time VPK is offered for free to all four-year-olds so that every child can have an opportunity to prepare for kindergarten. At Kidstown Learning Center, our part-time VPK program is offered from 9:00am – 12:00pm with lunch provided.

In order to get your child registered for this VPK program, you’ll need a VPK certificate offered by the state of Florida. As we already mentioned, the Office of Early Learning Family Portal is where you can sign up and print your child’s VPK certificate.

Full-Time VPK Program

If you’re looking for a full day VPK program, you can enroll your child in our full-time VPK program. While the part-time program is free for all students, our full time program is $135/week from 6:30am – 6:00pm. This means that we provide breakfast, lunch, and a snack to your child while they are here.

The full-time program is a great way to get your children used to spending the entire day in a structured classroom setting with peers, and also provides an academic alternative to sending your children to daycare for the rest of the day.
