WE ARE A PEANUT FREE SCHOOLATTENTION PARENTS! Kidstown is a "peanut free" school! Therefore we do NOT allow any food or snack items brought in that are in the peanut family. We have children in our school with severe peanut allergies. 
SUGGESTIONYour child needs to have an extra set of clothing in their cubby. Make sure to label everything. When picking up your child in the afternoon, make certain you have the jacket that belongs to your child. With warmer weather it would be helpful if you checked your child's hair on a regular basis. We also suggest putting gel or spray in your child's hair daily to protect from head lice. 
HIGHLIGHTS - REMINDERSWe are in the process of renewing our Accreditation. This fall our school will be reviewed in order to obtain this recognition once again. It is very important to us to satisfy all our families. If you have any suggestions please note we have a suggestion box in the front office for your convenience. REMINDER All children in the fours class need to register for the VPK program. An information letter went home with all students. If you have any questions, please inquire with your teachers. 
VPK - REMINDERAll VPK parents please remember to sign your child in and out each day! Also, keep in mind that there are additional fees when your child is in school on the days where no VPK is taking place. 
SoccerSoccer is offered to students two years of age thru VPK age. This takes place on Thursday mornings. Pick up your application at the front desk. The cost is only $35 per month. 
KarateKarate is offered for those students three years of age and older. The cost is $40 per month. This takes place on Thursday afternoons.

Keep Our Children SafePlease be careful when dropping off and picking up your children. Watch for Manatee children walking to and from school when pulling into and out of our drive. 
Parent Information CenterA Parent Information Center is located in the front office. Various articles and magazines that provide information on early childhood issues as well as enrichment services in the community. SUGGESTIONS & COMMENTS If you have any comments to improve our school, please place them in the suggestion box located in the front office. |
